Like this Chevy Cobalt the proportions are too weird, engines are always shitty and almost none of them look good. Here are some of the worst examples.
Renault Logan
Honda City
VW Voyage
Fiat Grand Siena

We get none of these in the states, I'm now glad.

Renault Logan
Why must my name be affixed to such a shitty car?
Also, didn't know the Cobalt was still a thing in some places.
The Honda doesn't look bad from the angle, TBH..

Sedans only look good when they are large and American.

Renault Logan? Does it come with an adamantium trim level?
![]() 01/28/2015 at 21:14 |

Especially in hardtop flavor.

I'm actually surprised they make those cars in sedan form, especially considering none of them are available over here. I thought everywhere else people were smart enough to realize that cars that small should be hatchback-only.

Pillarless 4 door?
Why are we not making that anymore!?
![]() 01/28/2015 at 21:14 |

I like the Voyage!
But the Sierra Grande is AWFUL, and I mostly agree with what you said.

Give me 4-seat 2-door coupes, or give me death

Gubment safety bs.
And body rigidity.

You should be, most taxis here are those awful things.

It's the same thing as a Sonic, I believe. Maybe Cruze. One of those two, at least.
![]() 01/28/2015 at 21:17 |

And that is the new Logan, the old one is even worse.
The Honda is the best of them.

No, shitty plastic is what it gets.

Agree with the large, but they can also be french, german and english.

So can I sue Renault for making my name look bad? Because that's fucking terrible.

At least the Sonic sedan actually looks kinda good.

One of the worst offenders - Peugeot 206 sedan.

If it makes you feel better, they make good little taxis for cities, way better than many of the alternatives.

You know, I feel this way when I see the Sonic sedan, but the Fiesta? I was behind one in traffic today on my way home, and I guess after staring at its ass for a significantly long time, it didn't look so bad to me, but I just don't get how the design really passed along so easily, considering it really affects rear visibility. Hatch/wagon all the way for me, but whatever floats your boat.
For me personally, it's the itty bitty wheels, high ground clearance (comparatively) and the stubby rear that just doesn't do it for me. It just looks like you're buying a car that had some creative styling by means of an accident. A pretty serious accident. But I've held that view since the Toyota Echo, so don't go off thinking I'm hating on small cars today, I've never really liked small sedans.

Not every small sedan is rubbish.
![]() 01/28/2015 at 21:53 |

I have to agree with that, but these ones are smaller and cheaper.
![]() 01/28/2015 at 22:00 |

hehe. those are sold as the dacia logan in romaina. you would like them.
why? brown, diesel, manual wagon with NOTHING extra. no power windows, no power seats, AC is an option. they have didly squat in terms of extra weight.
LOADS and LOADS of fun to chuck around.
![]() 01/28/2015 at 22:01 |

It's been out of production for several years now and the interior was typical GM crap, but the styling was inoffensive enough and the 260hp turbo 2 liter was a gem.

Odd GM sells 2 cars named the Cobalt. In the US, that was the Aveo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet…
This was the USA Cobalt
![]() 01/28/2015 at 23:02 |

The 207 is even worse, that stupid front
![]() 01/28/2015 at 23:03 |

We never had the normal Cobalt here, so they just used that name

I tried to like the Voyage, the Gol is ok in some variants

Now introducing the Renault Kent! Infinite fuel while driving under earth's yellow sun!
(WARNING: In the presence of radioactive space rocks, car may instantaneously disintegrate)

GM is weird like that. The 1st gen Daewoo Lacetti was sold as the Chevrolet Lacetti/Suzuki Foreza/Reno. It's 2nd gen is sold as the Chevrolet Cruze, which replaced the Chevrolet Cobalt, which replaced the Cavalier, that shared names with the Vauxhall Cavalier, but that was sold here as the Saturn L series, and.... oh look, I've gone cross-eyed =/
![]() 01/29/2015 at 06:03 |

This was a thing? Evidently so.
![]() 01/29/2015 at 14:10 |

The cobalt is the worst offender. It looks so out of proportion.
![]() 01/30/2015 at 03:46 |
|
So they send the cobalt name to europe, then retrieve the captiva name for their saturn/chevy rental SUV. Fuckin boring GM.

Actually south america haha, but yeah.
